Using noise reduction as a first step doesn't make sense since neat image does not support raw files. This has only happened to images where I have used presets. In neat image I use auto profile and try to queue it up, but neat image wont start the process. Then I export it as a jpeg and open the jpeg in neat image. Open a raw file in lightroom, do the different edits and add a preset like a HDR preset. Malachi Petunia edited this topic ages ago. Applying noise reduction to an already processed image will likely reduce the efficacy of the noise reduction. Looking further at Neat Image (if you mean, it seems as if this should be the first step in your workflow anyway. The resulting JPEG was very cyan.Ĭan you describe further what you are doing - or trying to do - such that it isn't working? I just did a quick test and did nothing but apply Cyanotype and File>Export to a JPEG. I assume by "presets" you mean the "Develop Presets" such as the default "Antique Greyscale" or "Cyanotype". I just tested this on the Windows v1.0 version. Take an image, apply presets, export as a PSD or TIFF then open in Neat image and adjust - save again, would be my assumption. It works fine with files that I don't have added presets to.Īnyone have an idea what is up with this? Neat image will not make a saveable image. I've been playing around with presets in lightroom, but when I try to run these images in neat image (auto profile and queue) I get no result.
